Up for grabs is a Rolex DateJust in steel
1603 reference 36mm
3.3 mil serial number circa 1972 production
Excellent vintage condition case with thick and sharp lugs. Serial and reference numbers are fully intact and clearly visible.
Dial is original, pie-pan Sigma with “Wide Boy” plots and hands. Nice yellow patina and all plots are fully intact. Hands patina is matching to the dial. No relume, no reprint. Original date disk with open 6’s and 9’s.
Caseback is stamped 1603 inside.
Bracelet is a Rolex 6251 folded Jubilee link with 55 ends. Fits a large wrist. There is no date code on clasp, which is period correct for this watch.
No box or papers. No documented service history. Watch winds smoothly and runs at COSC specs with strong amplitude.
