Up for grabs is a Rolex Explorer 2
1655 reference
3.09 mil serial number circa early 1972 production
Excellent vintage condition case with thick lugs and chamfers. Serial and reference numbers are clearly intact. No corrosion or pitting.
Dial is original, MK1 in excellent condition with nice cream patina. Th only flaw is at coronet, which has a little scratch (see pics). Date disk original with open 6’s and 9’s. Original hands with straight Seconds hand.
Bezel is original MK2 in sharp condition and fully colored in numbers.
Caseback is original, stamped 1655 and II.72 inside.
Bracelet is a Rolex 7836 folded link with 280 ends, fully linked 13 links, dated ’70.
No box or papers.
