Up for grabs is a Rolex Explorer 2
1655 reference
3.2 mil serial number circa 1972 production
Excellent vintage condition case with thick and even lugs. Case shows signs of being worn, but original chamfers are still visible. No corrosion or pitting. Serial and reference numbers are fully intact and clearly visible.
Dial is original, MK1 with correct original hands with straight seconds hand. Date disk is original with open 6’s and 9’s. Dial shows signs of aging and has nice creamy patina on plots.
Bezel is correct and original MK2
Bracelet is a Rolex 7836 with 580 ends, 11 links, ’72 date code.
Caseback is stamped 1655.
No box or papers. No documented service history.
