Up for grabs is a Rolex Explorer 2

3.0 mil serial number circa 1972 production

Very good vintage condition case with thick lugs and crown guards. A bit of corrosion between the lugs, but serial and reference numbers are fully intact and clearly visible.

Dial is original MK1 with original and correct straight Seconds hand.

Date disk with open 6’s and 9’s.

The orange hand has been replaced in past, perhaps due to fade in color. Hour and minute and seconds hands are original and tritium.

Bezel is a service replacement.

Caseback is original, stamped 1655 and dated in 1972

Bracelet is a Rolex 93150 with 10 links, moderate stretch, C date code and 501B ends.

No box or papers. No documented service history.
