Up for grabs is a Rolex GMT-Master
Reference 1675
3.4 mil serial number circa 1972 production
Very good vintage condition case with thick and even lugs and crown guards. No corrosion. Clear numbers.
The dial is a very rare so-called MK2.5 with a very distinct coronet shape and typography.
Furthermore, this dial has developed very deep patina with orange hue, some may call it “pumpkin”. The hands are original and matching. No relume, no refinish, no damage. Original date disk with open 6’s and 9’s.
Very attractive fat font bezel insert with brown and grayish-blue hues.
Caseback is original, stamped 1675 and dated ’72 inside.
The bracelet is a period correct, though probably not work with this watch, 7836 folded link with 258 ends, and ’71 date on clasp.
