Up for grabs is a Rolex Submariner Date

3.2 mil serial number circa 1972 production
Excellent vintage condition case with thick and even lugs and crown guards. No corrosion or pitting. Serial and reference numbers are clearly intact.
Dial is original Red Sub MK4 variation with creamy patina on plots. The hands are tritium with slightly darker patina than dial. Original date disk with open 6’s and 9’s.
Bezel insert is a nice fat font with faded color.
Caseback is original, stamped 1680 and dated ’72
Bracelet is original Rolex 9315 with 10 links, pateted misspelled diver’s extension and 280 ends.
No box or papers.
