Up for grabs is a Rolex Submariner Date in steel

3.7 mil serial number circa 1973 production
Excellent vintage condition case without dings or dents. Serial and reference numbers are intact and clearly visible.
Dial is original, MK6 in excellent condition. There is a chip exactly at edge of dial at 30 minute marker, but otherwise flawless without damage. Very attractive and vivid yellow patina on plots and hands. Original date disk with open 6’s and 9’s.
Caseback is original, stamped 1680 inside.
No box or papers. No documented service history. Watch comes on unworn vintage leather strap.
