799,XXX serial number circa 1973 production

The case is in excellent vintage condition with thick lugs and crown guards, seemingly unpolished.

The dial is original, blue with nice creamy patina on markers and hands. The dial surface has the typical (and correct) paint degradation. The hands are original, tritium. They have just been stabilized by LA Watchworks, so there aren’t concerns about fracture in the lume.

The original bezel insert has faded to a “ghost” purple hue.

The caseback is also original with legible engravings.

The watch comes on a Rolex 78360/580 bracelet in worn condition, full 13 links, G date code. Please note the coronet on outer clasp is polished down.

No box or papers. Besides getting the hands stabilized, LA Watchworks also replaced the crystal and installed a new crown and tube. No service has been performed. The watch winds and runs showing about +20 seconds with ~250 amplitude.
