Up for grabs is a Rolex Submariner Date in steel

3.85 mil serial number circa 1974 production
Excellent vintage condition case with thick and even lugs and crown guards. Serial and reference numbers are fully intact and clearly visible.
Dial is MK1 with closed 6’s in flawless condition. No chips, scratches, marks, or lume loss. Very attractive yellow patina on plots and original tritium hands. No relume, no refinish. Date disk with open 6’s and 9’s.
Nearly flawless bezel insert with tritium pearl is original with serif font.
Caseback is original, stamped 1680 inside.
The bracelet is a Rolex 93150 with 11 links, 580 ends, and “patented” diver’s extension. Tight condition as seen in pictures with crisp coronet on clasp.
The uncommon part of this bracelet is the date code. It is stamped 1/76 and is the last known numeric code Rolex used on Swiss made bracelets. The generally accepted code for 1976 is “A” as part of the first letter code system. A neat feature to add to this watch.
