Up for garbs is a Tudor Submariner
Reference 7016/0
814,XXX serial number circa 1974 production
Excellent vintage condition case with thick and chamfered lugs. Clear numbers between the lugs. The sides of case have been brush-finished. This usually was done by diver’s to prevent the watch from shining underwater and I has been seen during this time period on issued watches. The brushed finish is old and was applied long time ago based on wear seen on watch. Those chamfers also appear original. The watch has no provenance or dive history, so this is just speculation based on evidence, but does not affect the price of the watch at all.
Dial is original with nice cream patina on plots. Damage-free. The hands are original, slightly lighter in patina.
Original bezel insert with fat font and pearl.
Caseback has clear engravings.
Watch comes on Rolex 93150 bracelet with 501B ends.
No box or papers. Domed crystal, no service history.
