Up for grabs is a Rolex Submariner Date in steel
1680 reference
5.0 mil serial number circa 1977 production
Excellent vintage condition case with strong case and crown guards. No corrosion or pitting. Serial and reference numbers are fully intact and clearly visible.
Dial is original, MK4 white with eggshell white plots. Hands are tritium and matching the dial. No chips, scratches, or lume loss. Date disk with open 6’s and 9’s.
Crystal is domed and looks great while amplifying the maxi dial even further.
Nicely faded bezel insert with tritium pearl.
Caseback is original, stamped 1680 inside.
Bracelet is like new, Rolex 93150 in very tight condition, 580 ends, 11 links, diver’s extension and SH9 date code.
No box or papers. No documented service history.
