1978 Rolex DateJust ref. 1630 in Steel and 14kt

Up for grabs is a Rolex DateJust in steel and 14kt gold

Reference 1630 which is a seldom seen reference with same case design as OysterQuartz models, but with automatic movement

Serial and reference numbers are very crisp and clearly seen on the back of lugs.

Dial on this watch has been swapped at some point with a “Date” dial. The outer minute tract remains original.

The case is very well preserved with factory finished and chamfers.

Bracelet is original, tight, and fits a large man’s wrist.

No box or papers.
