Up for grabs is a Rolex GMT-Master
Reference 1675
5.42 mil serial number circa 1978 production
The case clearly shows its original chamfers and Rolex factory finishes. Clear numbers. No corrosion or pitting.
Dial is flawless with very vivid yellow patina MK5 with original tritium hands. The GMT hand lume is a few shades darker, but original, a close-up is included. Original date disk with open 6’s and 9’s. No relume, no refinish.
An original and very attractive Pepsi insert with faded colors.
Original Rolex 7836 bracelet with 12 links, 258 correct ends, and a rare date stamp. It is stamped 1/76. As we know, Rolex started using letters for their date codes in 1976, so it is rare to see an actual number stamped on the clasp and I believe even though its stamped “earlier” than the watch’s serial number these bracelets were used by Rolex at a later date as leftover and its original to this watch. The condition of the bracelet also matches the overall condition of the watch.
Caseback is original, stamped 1675 inside.
No box or papers.
