Up for grabs is a Rolex Day-Date in 18kt yellow gold
Reference 19018 with 36mm case, OysterQuartz
5.9 serial number circa 1979 production with warranty papers dated in 1980 at time of purchase new.
Excellent vintage condition case retains its original chamfers and correct horizontal brushed finish. The caseback sticker still remains intact. The serial and reference numbers are partially visible due to past polish, but still can match to the papers and recognize.
This is a rare opportunity to get one of these in such condition. Most you will see are either completely missing the bevels on the case from polishing or improperly refinished with vertical polishing.
The dial is original, silver with orange patina on plots. The hands were probably replaced during the service in 2003.
The bracelet is in excellent condition, tight and fully linked.
The watch not only comes with its original papers, but also some rare accessories like the QUARTZ hang tag, the OysterQuartz manual, as well as a clear Rolex pouch I have personally never seen before. It also comes with Rolex boxes, manuals, both hang tags, punched papers, Rolex Service center card from 2003 from Venezuela.
