Up for grabs is a Rolex Submariner Date in steel
1680 reference
6.1 mil serial number circa 1979 production
Excellent vintage condition case with sharp and thick lugs and crown guards. Serial and reference numbers are fully intact and clearly visible.
Dial is original, MK1 Lemerich with closed 6’s and nice yellow patina. No damage. Hands are original, tritium and match well to the dial. Original date disk with open 6’s and 9’s.
Caseback is original, stamped 1680 inside.
Bracelet is a Rolex 93150 with 11 links, 580 ends, tight condition, diver’s extension and correct D date code on clasp.
No box or papers. No documented service history. Watch winds smoothly and runs well.
