Up for grabs is a Rolex Submariner Date

6.1 mil serial number circa 1979 production

An amazing example with MK1 dial is in untouched condition. Untouched meaning that nothing has been swapped, replaced, polished, refinished, etc. There is still gunk and dirt between the lugs and on bracelet as seen in pictures. This is left on purpose to show originality.

Case shows signs of being worn, but clearly the lugs are factory finished with factory chamfers. Clear numbers between the lugs. Original winding crown and thick crown guards.

Dial is flawless MK1 with gorgeous yellow patina on plots and hands. No relume, no scratches, no refinish. Hands are tritium. Original silver date disk with open 6’s and 9’s.

Bezel insert is original, with original tritium “pearl” with matching patina.

Caseback is original, stamped 1680 inside.

Bracelet is original Rolex 93150 with period correct F date code, 10 links, “patented” stamped diver’s extension, 580 ends.

Original top-hat crystal with surface scratches, but no cracks or chips.

No box or papers.
