1980 Rolex DateJust ref. 16018 Yellow Gold, Blue Vignette Diamond Dial

Up for grabs is a Rolex DateJust

Reference 16018 with 36mm case, quickset date, sapphire crystal, 18k solid gold

6.5 mil serial number circa 1980 production

Excellent vintage condition case with thick and sharp lugs. Legible numbers.

Original blue vignette dial with factory set diamonds. Original date disk with open 6’s and 9’s, Dial is damage-free. All lume dots are intact.

Nice fluted bezel.

Caseback is sterile and sharp.

The watch comes on unworn leather strap with generic buckle.

This watch also comes with Rolex warranty papers which was hand-filled and dated in 1983. It will be included, but I will not put much value on it because of the handwritten serial number.
