Up for grabs is a Rolex Submariner Date

Reference 16800 with 40mm case, sapphire crystal.

6.5 mil serial number circa 1980 production

Excellent vintage condition case shows sign of wear but retains strong original lugs with factory chamfers. Even crown guards. Clear numbers.

Dial is a very attractive matte with color changed “tropical” dial. You can clearly see the difference in color between the fading black bezel insert and brown tone of the dial surface. Nice patina on plots. The hands have been relumed with non-luminous material to match the patina on dial. Original date disk with open 6’s and 9’s.

Original bezel insert with tritium pearl.

Bracelet is original Rolex 93150 with 11 links, 593 end-links, correct E date code, diver’s extension.

No box or papers.
