1980’s Audemars Piguet 25654BA Royal Oak Perpetual Calendar 39mm in Gold

Up for grabs is an Audemars Piguet in 18kt yellow gold

25654 BA reference 

This is a “big” 39mm size watch, do not confuse it with other smaller 36mm similar references.

C series from 1980’s, with this watch being approximately from 1988 or so. 

This is an automatic, cal. 2120/2800 perpetual calendar watch 

Excellent vintage condition case shows signs of wear, but no dings or dents and still original finished and chamfers on case edges. The bezel, and only the bezel, has been rebrushed by LA Watchworks prior to sale. It is in excellent condition. 

The bracelet links show patina on them from being seldom worn and untouched. 

Dial is original, with vintage Audemars Piguet signature in all-same font size. Dial is damage free, the moonphase indicator and hands are original. 

Caseback clearly displays all signatures, serial number and the individual number. 

Bracelet is in tight condition, shows practically no stretch, has correct, original, and signed white gold clasp and the AP stamp on buckle is clear and crisp. Watch fits about a 7.75″ wrist. 

There are no box or papers. No documented service history. Watch winds, runs and all functions work.
