Up for grabs is a Rolex DateJust in steel

Reference 16030

7.1 mil serial number circa 1981 production

Excellent vintage condition case with sharp and defined lugs. Clear numbers.

Dial is original, white with painted Roman numerals, so-called “Buckley dial” with correct black hands. All plots are intact. Nice orange patina.

Original date disk with open 6’s and 9’s.

Bracelet is original, Rolex Jubilee 62510H with E date code, moderate stretch from use, 555 ends.

Watch was found with papers with hand written serial number. The papers do not have a COSC seal on them and traditionally would be correct for 5513 or precision model or a Daytona (any non-COSC watch). Since a saleperson could grab any paper and fill it out by hand, this paper is probably original to this watch, but it is not “correct”. No boxes.
