1981 Rolex GMT-Master ref. 16750 “Matte Dial, Heavy Patina, Pepsi”

Up for grabs is a Rolex GMT-Master

Reference 16750 with 40mm case, quickset date, acrylic crystal

7.31 serial number circa late 1981 production

Very good condition case with thick lugs and crown guards. Shows signs of wear but still retains some of the original chamfers. The numbers are fully legible between the lugs.

Dial is original, matte, with heavy patina which I would describe as wet sand color. The dial itself is clean without chips or scratches. The hands are tritium, but most likely have been replaced during past early service.

Date disk is original with open 6’s and 9’s.

Pepsi insert is original with red back.

The watch comes on unworn leather strap with steel buckle. It was also serviced before going up for sale and currently requires no attention. A new crystal was also installed.
