Up for grabs is a Rolex GMT-Master
Reference 16750 with quickset date function
7.1 mil serial number circa 1981 production, the first year of a 7 year production run of this reference
The case remains unpolished and you can clearly tell that from pictures of the lugs and crown guards. There are signs of wear in form of scratches, dings and dents.
The dial is spectacular matte with very attractive yellow patina on plots and hands. Damage-free. No relume. No scratches. Original date disk with open 6’s and 9’s.
Original and correct Pepsi insert with red back and nicely faded color hues.
The bracelet is also original Rolex Jubilee with correct “50” stamped last links which were only used for GMT’s. Tight condition with F date code on clasp. The end-links were replaced at some point with 555 instead of 550’s.
The caseback remains unpolished and sharp without any personalizations.
No box or papers, but pretty much a “text book” example in terms of what a desirable vintage GMT should look like and since it already has some battle scars on the case, you won’t feel bad about wearing this amazing looking piece.
