Up for grabs is a Tudor Chrono-Time “big block”
reference 94210 with rotating bezel
149XX, 5 digit serial number circa around 1981 production.
This watch was owned by a commercial pilot who was gifted it by a Saudi prince Faisal. Thomas was a piloting prince’s private Boeing 707 from 1981-1984. Thomas W. Jr. passed away in 1992 and the watch has remained in possession of the widow, Beatrice who has kept it unworn for many years and even sent it to Rolex/Tudor for service in 2010. A signed letter, with brief history, from Beatrice is included with the watch.
The watch itself is very well preserved. The lugs are thick and even though it looks like Rolex touched it up with a polish during service, the original chamfers are still evident. Serial and reference numbers are very clear and bracelet shows no wear in between lugs.
The dial is fantastic silver with black subs. No chips, no scratches. All plots are intact and have nice patina on them. The hands are luminova and were replaced by Rolex during 2010 service.
Bezel is original, damage free.
Bracelet is a very tight Rolex 78360 with correct 589 end-links, correct F date code.
The watch comes with letter from original owner’s widow and Tudor service warranty card. No other accessories or paperwork.
