Up for grabs is a Rolex Day-Date in 18k white gold
Reference 18039 with 36mm case, sapphire crystal, quickset date
Extremely well preserved watch shows signs of handling, but is very clearly unpolished. The numbers between the lugs are perfect and show no bracelet wear.
The dial is amazing matte black with lume that has aged to a vivid orange color, creating a very attractive contrast. The 11 o’clock plot is not perfect.
Spanish day disk.
Super sharp fluted bezel
The original Rolex caseback sticker is still mostly intact, indicating low frequency of wear.
The bracelet is a Rolex president, also unpolished and tight, made for the South American market by D’A due to local import and tax reason during this period. Similiar has been done for the American, Mexican, and Japanese markets where we see bracelets coming out with “Made in Japan”, “Hecho en Mexico” and USA C&I bracelets.
The watch has been found with both of its hang tags, including the one with serial number. No boxes or other accessories.
