1982 Rolex GMT-Master ref. 16750 “Matte Dial, Unpolished, Box & Papers”

Up for grabs is a fresh-to-market Rolex GMT-Master

Reference 16750 with quickset date and matte dial

7.6 mil serial number circa late 1982 production

Excellent vintage condition case with thick and even lugs and crown guards. Factory chamfers, seemingly unpolished. Fully legible numbers between the lugs.

Dial is original, matte, with beautiful yellow patina on pots and hands. The Seconds hand has developed oxidation, but is original. For some reason, this is very common, and almost standard for this serial number range on GMT’s and Subs

Bezel insert is original all-black with fat font.

Bracelet is original Rolex 78360 with 580 ends and 12 links, G date code.

Caseback is original, unpolished, stamped 16750 inside.

The watch comes with Rolex boxes, manual, warranty paper, both hang tags, original wallet with serial number sticker.

No service history, but the watch winds smoothly and shows -9 seconds with ~220 amplitude.
