1982 Tudor Submariner Date ref. 94110 “Blue Snowflake”

Up for grabs is a Tudor Submariner

Reference 94110 with blue dial and bezel. The so-called Snowflake

971,XXX serial number circa 1982 at the end of production and before the switch over to reference 76100.

Excellent vintage condition case with thick and even lugs and crown guards. Clear numbers. Original caseback.

The dial is type B typography dial which was only used in last 1-2 years of production of 94110’s and is also sometimes seen as service dials in earlier production Tudors including 9411/0 and 7021. In this case, however, the dial is original and matching to the time period of this case. Nice yellow lume. Original snowflake hands were relumed at some point in order to match the dial and replace the cracked lume as it often happens on these.

Very nice and original blue bezel insert.

Original Rolex crown.

The bracelet is a Rolex 7836 with 380B ends.

No box or papers. The original top hat crystal was obviously swapped out for a domed one for a cleaner look.
