1983 Rolex DateJust ref. 16030 White Buckley, Papers

Up for grabs is a Rolex DateJust in steel

Reference 16030 with acrylic crystal, quickset movement, and 36mm case

8.0 serial number circa late 1983 production. Warranty papers are dated in 1985.

Excellent vintage condition case with sharp and thick lugs and legible numbers. Appears unpolished.

The dial is original, white “Buckley” with nice patina on hands and lume dots. Original date disk with open 6’s and 9’s. The lume does are fully intact with vivid patina.

Bracelet is original Rolex 78360 with 558 ends, 12 links, H date code.

Watch comes with its original punched warranty paper dated in 1985 at time of purchase as new and original hang tag, as well as inner Rolex box.

There is some kind of logo engraved on the back of it and date 1920-1985. This logo is not familiar to me, nor do I have any provenance except for knowing the dealer was located in Venezuela who sold the watch new. The watch runs, but being a fresh find and seemingly unpolished, I would recommend a movement service if you are looking to wear it daily.
