Up for grabs is a Rolex GMT-Master in steel
16750 reference
8.0 mil serial number circa 1983 production.
This is one of the best examples I have ever had and was able to offer for sale. The watch shows very little signs of wear, has developed a very strong yellow-cream patina on dial and also comes as a “box and papers” set.
Excellent vintage condition case is clearly original with factory finishes and chamfers. Please note the condition of case between the lugs. There is hardly any kind of bracelet wear, not even dirt in between lugs. The underside of the case shows original finish, sharp edges and no springbar or tool marks. Take a look at the crown guard “step” bevel, which is almost almost gone even from light polishing and/or wear.
The caseback shows original finishes and sharp edges. The inside has no marks and I believe I was the first person to have opened this caseback. This means the watch has never been serviced, but also means the movement/dial have never been out of the case, therefore a perfectly preserved.
The dial is flawless with very attractive patina with matching tritium hands. Date disk is original with open 6’s and 9’s.
Bezel insert is original and damage free. Crystal is original, with a few scratches.
Bracelet is original 78360 with correct H date code, all 13 links, correct 580 ends, and practically no stretch. The clasp clearly shows factory finish.
Watch comes with Rolex box, original manuals in Spanish, which matches the original punched papers with AD stamp and 770 country code, which is Venezuela.
