Up for grabs is a Rolex Sea-Dweller
16660 reference
8.2 mil serial number circa 1984 production
Superb vintage condition case with original chamfers and finishes. Watch shows only light signs of being worn in past. Serial and reference numbers are fully intact and clearly visible. There is no end-link bracelet wear between the lugs, so it further reinforces the thought this watch wasn’t worn much at all in past.
Dial is original, glossy with heavy cream patina on plots and hands. Hands show some oxidation on metal parts of it. The dial has very fine spidering on lacquer at an angle. Date disk is original with open 6’s and 9’s.
Caseback is in excellent condition with original finish and also all of the black enamel still intact.
Bracelet is original 93160 with 592 end-links and fully linked bracelet with period correct date code on clasp. Very tight condition, original finish, without much signs of wear.
Bezel and crystal are original and damage free. Nice matching tritium pearl on insert.
No box or papers. No documented service history.
