Up for grabs is a Rolex Submariner Date in steel
16800 reference
8.70 mil serial number circa 1984 production
Excellent vintage condition case with thick and even lugs and crown guards. Bevels are still evident Serial and reference numbers are fully intact and clearly visible.
The dial is matte, tritium with very vivid yellow patina on plots. Dial is damage free. Hands are original, but have been relumed with non-luminous material to match the color of dial. Original date disk with open 6’s and 9’s.
Bracelet is original, Rolex 93150 with 10 links, diver’s extension, moderate stretch from use as seen in pictures, H date code (1983) on clasp.
Caseback is original, stamped 16800 inside.
No box or papers. No documented service history.
Watch winds smoothly, runs at +4 seconds per day with strong amplitude.
