8.6 mil serial number circa 1984 production
Excellent vintage condition case with thick and even lugs and crown guards. Numbers are clearly visible between the lugs.
Dial is original, matte with perfect patina on plots and hands. No scratches, stains, drag marks. No relume on dial or hands. Original open 6’s and 9’s date disk.
Bezel insert is original, with tritium pearl. It does not glow, but has not developed any patina.
Bracelet is a Rolex 93150 with 12 links, 593 ends, I date code, diver’s extension.
The watch comes as a complete set with Rolex boxes, manuals, calendar, warranty papers. The calendar is for 1985-1986. The warranty papers are stamped with AD’s name in Guam, punched serial number, and dated in 1985 at time of purchase. The Rolex wallet also has a sticker inside matching to the watch’s serial number. The outer box has “16800” sticker with matching serial number to the watch written on top of it.
No documented service history. Watch winds smoothly, runs at -9 seconds at ~280 amplitude.
