Up for grabs is a Rolex Submariner Date in steel
16800 reference
8.8 mil serial number circa 1988 production
Excellent vintage condition case has previously been polished, but still retains thick and even lugs and crown guards. Serial and reference numbers are fully intact and clearly visible.
Dial is original, tritium with light cream patina on plots and original hands. The dial has matted from age. Original date disk with open 6’s and 9’s.
Original insert with tritium pearl.
Rolex 93150 bracelet with 12 links, 593 ends, DE date code, diver’s extension and moderate stretch from use.
No box or papers. No documented service history. Watch winds smoothly and runs at COSC specs currently at about +3 seconds per day with ~295 amplitude.
