Up for grabs is a Rolex Submariner Date in steel
168000 reference “transitional” with triple zero reference.
R serial number circa 1987 production, with warranty papers dated in 1988
Very good vintage condition case with signs of wear and age. Serial and reference numbers are fully intact and clearly visible.
Dial is tritium, original, with light cream patina on plots. There is tropical color change around the plots as seen in pictures. Date disk with open 6’s and 9’s.
Bezel insert shows wear, but is original with matching tritium pearl to the dial.
Bracelet is original Rolex 93150 in fair condition with 593 ends, correct M date code, 11 links, diver’s extension. The bracelet shows stretch over average as seen in pictures.
This watch comes complete with Rolex boxes, manuals, original warranty papers, original sales receipt from AD and a service receipt from 2008. All receipt and papers have matching names of the owner. This watch is a one-owner piece prior to being offered for sale by me.
No further documented service history, the watch winds smoothly and runs at COSC currently with ~290 amplitude.
