Up for grabs is an Omega Speedmaster in steel

ST 345.0808 case reference or 3352 B store reference

489618XX serial number circa 1988 production Cal. 863 in copper finish

This model was launched to commemorate 20 Years Flight-Qualified for Space. This is the very first steel Speedmaster model to feature a display back. It was launched in numbered run of 1000 pieces worldwide between 1985 and 1988. These watches are numbered on caseback and also between the lugs at 12 o’clock. 

Excellent vintage condition case without major dings or dents. The number 0925 is clearly engraved between the lugs. 

Dial is original, flawless condition with attractive yellow patina on hands and plots. 

The movement is original copper colored Cal. 863 which was only used for this particular reference, switching to a gilt colored 863 later on. 

Caseback is original, also numbered 0925 to match the case. 

The bracelet is original Omega reference 1450 with 808 ends. 

No box or papers. No documented service history.
