1988 Rolex GMT-Master ref. 16750 “Glossy Dial, Box and Papers”

Up for grabs is a Rolex GMT-Master

Reference 16750 with acrylic crystal, tritium dial

R5 serial number circa 1988 production

Very good vintage condition case previously polished, even lugs and crown guards. Clear numbers.

Dial is original, with creamy patina on plots and hands. Date disk is original with open 6’s and 9’s. The lacquer on the dial has an even aging “spotting” as you can see in one of the pictures. This is not due to moisture, not man-made, but just how the lacquer has aged on this watch and similar to some other watches from this era.

The watch comes on Rolex 78360 Oyster bracelet with 558B ends, 13 links, and M9 date code (1988).

According to the papers, the watch was sold through a US based AD. No name or date was filled in.
