1988 Rolex Submariner ref. 168000 “Triple 0, Tiffany & Co”

Up for grabs is a Rolex Submariner Date

Reference 168000 transitional model only made for about year. The only difference between 16800 and 168000 was the steel used on this watch, which was now the 914L stainless steel Rolex will use on 16610 model.

Very good vintage condition case without any corrosion or pitting of the case. Even lugs.

This reference is already rare as is, but this particular example is also Tiffany & Co. signed. The dial itself is in excellent condition with nice patina on plots and hands. Original date disk with open 6’s and 9’s,

Original bezel insert with tritium and matching pearl.

The bracelet is a Rolex 93150 with 501B ends and R date code. Tight condition with 11 links.
