Up for grabs is a Rolex Submariner Date in steel
168000 reference, true transitional model
R5 serial number circa 1988 production
Excellent vintage condition case has previously been polished. Serial and reference numbers are fully intact and clearly visible.
Dial is original, tritium with light cream patina on plots and original tritium hands. Original date disk with open 6’s and 9’s.
Watch comes on unworn vintage leather strap.
The bezel insert is newer with luminova pearl.
No box or papers. No documented service history. Watch winds smoothly and runs at +4 seconds per day
