Up for grabs is a Rolex Cosmograph Daytona in 18kt yellow gold
16528 reference with Zenith movement
E serial number circa 1990 production
This is an excellently preserved example with very sharp and unpolished case and very tight bracelet. If you have been looking around for a vintage solid gold piece, you know how worn out these cases and bracelets get usually. Serial and reference numbers are fully intact and very clearly visible, there is not even any bracelet rub between lugs. The gold has developed patina on sides of case from sitting around.
Dial is original white MK3 with inverted 6. Flawless condition with nicely developed patina on plots and hands.
Bezel is in excellent condition with light marks here and there but looks untouched and all enamel fully intact.
Caseback and back of the case are crisp without any signs of polish.
Bracelet is original and correct early version without flip-lock. It is fully linked, very tight, carries correct date code and still even retains its original spring-bars.
There are no box or papers. No documented service history, but it is unlikely that this watch has ever been to a watchmaker.
