1990 Rolex Explorer ref. 14270 “Blackout Dial, Box & Papers”

Early production with E serial number, 36mm

This is a very low production Blackout dial version with black enamel on 3-6-9 only produced for a few months during this time period. The print of the dial is also silver, opposed to white on later dials. Also, it has the correct and original hands with “long lollipop” on seconds hand.

Excellent vintage condition case with sharp and defined lugs. Clear numbers.

Dial is original, tritium with light cream patina on plots and rare “Blackout” 3-6-9.

Bracelet is original Rolex 78360 in tight condition with N date code and 558B ends.

Watch comes with its original warranty papers date and stamped and Rolex box set. It was serviced by Rolex in December 2019. Only movement has been touched, no polishing and nothing replaced. You will also receive the RSC warranty card and the watch currently remains under RSC warranty until 12-20.
