Up for grabs is a Rolex GMT-Master
Reference 16700
E serial number circa 1990 production
Excellent vintage condition case with thick lugs and crown guards. Previously polished. Fully legible numbers.
Dial is original with very strong custard patina on plots. The hands are color-matched by LA Watchworks for best esthetics. Most of the hands on these early 90’s models do not age the same as the dial, and when the dial develops a nice patina, I always think its best to have the hands matching as well.
The insert has faded to very nice colors of sky blue and pale pink almost.
A new crystal was installed while the watch was at LAWW.
The bracelet is original Rolex 78360 with 12 links, P date code, moderate stretch from age and use, correct 501B ends.
No box or papers. No service history. The watch currently functions and runs at about +9 seconds per day with ~260 amplitude.
