Up for grabs is an Audemars Piguet Quantième Perpétuel Ref. 25661PT in platinum.
Housed in a 36mm platinum case, this ultra-thin perpetual calendar features an automatic movement and a display back. Each piece is individually numbered.
Of the 342 watches produced under this reference, only 37 were made in platinum, and it is believed that fewer than 10 examples were fitted with mother-of-pearl dials.
The dial is the highlight: a white mother-of-pearl surface revealing shifting tones of grey, green, and subtle violet depending on the light. Under certain angles it comes alive with remarkable depth while remaining understated and refined. The dial is in flawless condition with no cracks or scratches.
The case presents in excellent vintage condition with sharp hallmarks and deep engravings.
It is fitted on its original Audemars Piguet strap with platinum AP buckle and is accompanied by its original AP box and warranty papers dated 1995 at the time of purchase.
