Up for grabs is an Omega Speedmaster Moonwatch
483458XX serial number circa 1996 production.
This is a very early production reference 3572.50 with 18 jewel cal. 863 movement before the switch to rhodium cal. 1863 movement.
The watch is in excellent vintage condition with sharp case. Serial number is clear on lug.
The dial is original with very vivid yellow patina. They hands are also original, but are lighter. This is also correct and typical of this era of Speedmasters. Since the dial and hands were made and supplied by different brands to Omega, the luminous compound was not the same and did not age the same and also it didn’t mean they were same age as each other.
Original hesalite crystal with logo in center. Original bezel in nice condition.
The bracelet is original Omega 1499/842 in nice condition. Clasp sticker is still on, so assumption is that previous owner wore this on a strap and just had the bracelet sitting around.
No box or papers. No documented service history. Chrono works properly. Watch winds smoothly, runs at about ~325 amplitude and showing ~+8 seconds per day.
