1997 Rolex Daytona ref. 16520 “Zenith, Black Dial, Brown Subs”

Up for grabs is a Rolex Cosmograph Daytona in steel

Reference 16520 with Zenith based movement

U serial number circa 1997 production

The watch is in worn, but very obviously unpolished condition. The lugs remain very sharp, thick, and clearly factory finished. Clear numbers.

The caseback sticker is fully intact. The white material you see over the top of it is a common occurrence of a watch “pillow” transferring its material after the watch sits there for a long time. Evidently this watch was worn for some time in beginning of its life and then put away.

The dial is amazing and original black with fantastically aged subdial rings to a nice dark mocha color.

The bezel also remains in unpolished condition with clearly visible “bevel” on edge of it that’s there from factory.

Bracelet is original Rolex 78390 in tight and unpolished condition with correct U date code on clasp.
