Reference 16570 with 40 mm case

U79 serial number circa late 1997 production with warranty papers dated in December 1997 at time of purchase.

Excellent vintage condition case is probably unpolished or very lightly polished, still retaining chamfers. Legible numbers.

Original and probably unpolished bezel without dings or dents.

Caseback still retains its factory original sticker.

Original black dial. These late U serial dials already use luminova compound even though they are still marked T on bottom before switching over to swiss only. Both the dial and hands still briefly glow.

Rolex 78790 bracelet in tight condition with 501b ends, U date code, 12 links.
