Up for grabs is a Tudor Submariner Date
Reference 79190 which was at the end of production for Tudor branded Submariners. This model has similar characteristics to Rolex 16800 model in that it is a 40mm watch with matte, tritium dial and sapphire crystal. This reference also wears a bit slimmer than its older brother 79090, which has an acrylic crystal.
B983XXX serial number circa 1997 production with warranty papers dated in 1998 at time of purchase.
Excellent vintage condition case with thick lugs and legible numbers. Factory chamfers still remain. Original Rolex winding crown.
Dial is original, blue with nice cream patina on plots. No damage, no relume, no refinish. Crystal has a few marks from use over time. The hands were most likely replaced during past service as they briefly glow still after exposure to UV light for a few seconds, but they do match well to the dial in natual light and seem to be tritium.
Bezel insert is original with correct fat font insert and tritium pearl.
Caseback is original.
Bracelet is a rare Tudor 78500 with 11 links, diver’s extension, 380B ends, Z date code on clasp which is matching to the watch correctly. Essentially this is a Rolex 93150 bracelet
No box or papers. No service history is known. The watch runs at about -3 seconds per day with strong ampltiude.
