Up for grabs is a Rolex Explorer 2

Reference 16570 with 40mm case, white dial

A series with transitional “swiss” only on bottom of dial while Rolex was transitioning from tritium to Luminova dials.

Excellent vintage condition case with thick and even lugs. Perhaps been touched up in past, but still retain its original chamfers and finishes. Clear numbers.

Dial and bezel and crystal are original.

Original factory green sticker still intact on caseback.

Original Rolex 78790 bracelet in tight condition, 12 links, 501B ends, X date code.

Watch comes with original Rolex warranty papers only. No boxes or other accessories.

No service history is known. The watch winds smoothly and runs well at about +7 seconds a day.
