1999 Tudor Tiger Chronograph ref. 79270P “Yellow Dial, Williams World Golf Challenge”

UP for grabs is a Tudor Chronograph Tiger

Reference 79270 P. The P indicated factory high polish finished lugs, instead of brushed finish.

H100,XXX serial circa 1999 production.

The caseback of this watch is stamped with “Williams World Challenge”. After doing some brief research, this event was hosted by Tiger Woods and sponsored by Target, starting in January of year 2000. So the production of this watch makes total sense to be in 1999. Whether these watches were awarded to the winner or given out to all participants or staff is unknown to me. I have only been able to find 1 other Tudor with red dial with same engraving from same period.

Original yellow dial and hands. Original rotating bezel.

Original yellow strap with folding Tudor buckle. It shows some wear, but still in good used condition.

No box or papers.
