F.P. Journe Octa Lune “L” 38mm Platinum, Brass, Salmon Dial 03L

Up for grabs is a very special F.P. Journe Octa Lune

Reference 03L with 38mm platinum case and brass movement from 2003 production.

Absolutely incredible shimmer pink gold (salmon) dial.

Based on research, there were only 28 watches made in this combination.

The platinum case is in excellent condition without any dings or dents.

The original salmon dial is very difficult to photograph as it changes color and shimmers based on angles you’re looking at it and lighting conditions. I have posted a video taken in natural daylight, in shade and then in the direct sun. However, trust me when I tell you, the dial is even better in person and to your eye. You will find yourself staring at it at random times and almost without self-control. Here is a link to a large format video

Original brass movement functions properly and keeps time.

The watch comes very complete with original FPJ wooden box, unused polishing cloth, original (and rare) Octa Lune manual booklet, original warranty card. A service receipt from FPJ Japan from 2013 is also included with all matching numbers.
