Up for grabs is a Tudor Pelagos
Reference 25797B not available to the public. The model number is not a typo and is different from 25707B, which is a standard FXD version available to purchase at any Tudor dealer.
Though it is not known for sure, it is believed about 50 of the watches were order by Marine Nationale from Tudor.
The main attraction is the “2-line” dial which only shows Pelagos name and depth rating. The standard 25707 also has the Chronometer certification text and conversion of depth into feet. So, this is unique dial only to this MN21
The caseback is different in the sense that it says MN21 and underneath is the 3 digit issue number. So far I have seen 8XX batch and 9XX batch. With the help of Ross from Tudor Collector, who has records of 7 of these so far.
There are also accessories that come with these watches which are not available on 25707. The black NATO style strap, the hook and the rubber pad. Those are all pictured.
Of course the watch comes with Tudor warranty, hang tag, manual, etc.
Another important piece is the outer box white sleeve. It contains the Rolex France offices address as well as hand written issue number matching to the watch. This also shows that these watches were indeed order direct from Rolex/Tudor and not from AD.
Some of these have been “flipped” by commandos immediately and never worn or saw any action. The first one I had in December of 2021 was like that. This particular example, which took over a year to find for me, shows some signs of wear and its nice to see it has seen some kind of action and wrist time.
PayPal is not available for purchase of this watch. Wire transfer “discount” at checkout does NOT apply.
