2024 Otsuka Lotec No. 7.5 “Jump-Hour”

Up for grabs is an Otsuka Lotec No. 7.5

The watch features a design with three turret-shaped windows on the top of the case and a jumping hour mechanism that displays the time. The watch is equipped with a MIYOTA-made module and displays the hours (hours) instantly switching and the minutes and seconds on a disc in each window.

The clearance between the internal module and the inside of the case has been minimized, and the case diameter is 40 mm. A hairline finish and a sandblasted finish are used to give expression to the exterior, which combines edges and roundness.

The current model shows some important updates and upgrades from the No. 7.5 produced before 2023. Design, materials, and manufacturing processes have been improved to enhance stability and durability. The case material was changed from SUS303 to SUS316L, the glass from mineral glass to sapphire crystal glass, and the fisheye lens from acrylic glass to a custom-made sapphire lens . In addition, the buckle engraved with the brand logo and the specially designed strap were adopted.

Jiro Katayama, the watchmaker behind the brand, only currently sells these watches for the Japanese market and only via a raffle lottery to residents of Japan. This watch is in stock in US and ready for immediate shipment.
